Weeks 17-18
Goals
1. Understand and give examples of exceptions to Mendel’s rules of dominance and recessiveness: incomplete dominance, polygenic characteristics, codominance, linked traits, sex linked traits, multiple alleles. 2. Review for the final.
Students will complete a project (Make a face) focused on the use of Mendel's rules and their many exceptions, and then review for their final which will be on Jan 30. I'll have review material for them early in the previous week.
Notebook Contents
1. Notes on exceptions to dominance
2. Read 282-284 answer questions p284 1,4,6Homework
3. Make a face reflection --homework
